Former AKP Erzurum MP Zehra Taşkesenlioğlu has once again come to the fore due to her assets.
The wealth held by Taşkesenlioğlu—the sister of former SPK Chairman Ali Fuat Taşkesenlioğlu and the ex-wife of Ünsal Ban, who reportedly fled to Greece despite having three separate travel bans against him—has caused a widespread stir in public opinion.
Taşkesenlioğlu, who went through a tumultuous divorce process with Ünsal Ban, had previously stated regarding her wealth, "God is testing me by giving."
According to a report by Sözcü, it has emerged that the former MP owns a farm in England, a copper mine in Africa, numerous residences and plots of land, and is also a partner in three shopping malls.
In addition to these, kilograms of gold and 180 million dollars in savings are also among the assets held by Taşkesenlioğlu. Furthermore, Taşkesenlioğlu, who is known to own a yacht with a market value of 82 million liras, had previously used the following expressions in a statement:
