Have the ice thawed between Sedat Peker and the MHP? He announced when he will return to Turkey

Sedat Peker, who is wanted as a leader of a criminal organization and lives in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), made statements regarding his interaction with the MHP on social media.

Following MHP Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter's comment of "God bless you" on a post regarding Special Operations Police Officer Ömer Korkmaz, whom Peker had assisted, Peker responded via social media.

Responding to a question from Halk TV's İsmail Saymaz, Peker stated that the coldness between him and the MHP has ended, saying, "I only had a problem with Şefkat Çetin in the MHP. That was 25 years ago. I have never used a disrespectful word regarding Mr. Bahçeli to this day."

STATEMENT ON DEVLET BAHÇELİ

Emphasizing the respect he feels for Devlet Bahçeli, Peker used the expressions, "Brother Devlet is the leader of the nationalist movement, sitting in the seat of Alparslan Türkeş. On this occasion, I wish him healing from God."

Sedat Peker also evaluated Yönter's post, saying, "Yönter is someone respected by nationalists. He proved this with the post he made. He found the contribution I made regarding the treatment of our special operations police officer valuable and made a post that ensured it would be known to the public."

'I AM NOT A NATIONALIST, I AM A TURANIST'

Regarding his past words, "I am not a nationalist, I am a Turanist," Peker stated that the ideal of Turkish nationalism is Turan.

WHEN WILL HE RETURN TO TURKEY?

Regarding his plans to return to Turkey, Peker said, "I think it is too early for me to return to Turkey," and stated that the process regarding his return is being provoked.

Finally, stating that he completed his education in the International Relations department in the UAE, Peker announced that he has been interested in this field since his childhood years and plans to pursue a master's degree in this area.
