He caused chaos on the plane! Petlas has made its decision regarding Abdülkadir Özcan

Petlas Board Member Abdulkadir Özcan caused an incident on a THY flight from Dubai to Istanbul.

After consuming alcohol in Business Class, Özcan disturbed passengers and caused a scene when the cabin crew stopped serving him alcohol and another passenger requested to change seats.

Threatening the passenger and the cabin crew, Abdulkadir Özcan said, "Do you know who I am? I am a billion-dollar man, I can buy Turkey. Come here, who are you?"

PLACED ON BLACKLIST

THY Press Consultant Yahya Üstün announced on his social media account that Abdulkadir Özcan has been placed on the blacklist.

Üstün stated, "A passenger who caused a disturbance under the influence of alcohol on our Dubai-Istanbul flight verbally attacked our crew and passengers and was restrained with handcuffs. The passenger, who was handed over to law enforcement at the end of the flight, has been placed on the blacklist."

STATEMENT FROM PETLAS

A statement has been released by the company regarding Petlas Board Member Abdülkadir Özcan. The statement indicated that Özcan's employment has been terminated.

Petlas announced Özcan's dismissal with the following words:

-As of 14.12.2024, it has been decided to remove our Board Member Abdülkadir Özcan from his position on the Board of Directors of Petlas Lastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. We present this to the public.
