He drugged and harassed his passengers: The taxi driver's statements are unbelievable!
Taxi driver B.N., who is accused of drugging and harassing his passengers, claimed that he recorded the footage to make his wife jealous. The suspect, who was taken into custody, denied the accusations.
In Istanbul, a taxi driver has been taken into custody on allegations of filming and publishing footage of himself drugging and harassing his passengers.
The suspect, B.N. (28), did not accept the accusations in his police statement, instead claiming that he filmed the footage in question to make his wife, who he is in the process of divorcing, jealous.
B.N. explained that the incident occurred approximately 7-8 months ago, stating that they met when a woman asked for a light for her cigarette and that they drove around in his taxi for a few hours.
The driver stated, "The woman was intoxicated and fell asleep in the vehicle. When we arrived at her home, I filmed a video by touching her neck without waking her up. There was no such thing as harassment. Afterward, I woke the woman up and she went into her home."
It was noted that the woman, whose identity could not be reached, could not provide a statement as a victim, while B.N. claimed that he did not share the footage on social media and that he was threatened by his wife's relatives, who intentionally leaked the footage.
