He was driving a taxi to earn pocket money: University student lost his life in a traffic dispute

In the Karatay district of Konya, on Alaaddin Boulevard, a dispute over 'right of way' occurred between university student Eren Peker and another vehicle driver.

After the dispute, Peker continued on his way, but after dropping off his passenger, while he was waiting at a traffic light on Topraklık Street, the driver he had argued with blocked his path. Three people got out of the vehicle, attacked Peker in the taxi, and stabbed him.

UNIVERSITY STUDENT LOST HIS LIFE

Seriously injured, Eren Peker got out of his vehicle to ask for help from those nearby, while the attackers fled the scene. Upon the notification of bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Peker was taken to Konya City Hospital but could not be saved despite all interventions.

HE WAS WORKING TO EARN POCKET MONEY

Eren Peker, a second-year student in the Furniture and Decoration Department at Konya Technical University, was working at a taxi stand near his school on weekends to earn pocket money. It was learned that Peker, who lost his father at a young age, was staying in a dormitory in Konya.

HIS FUNERAL WAS SENT TO HIS HOMETOWN

Peker's body was sent to his hometown of Karaman for burial following autopsy procedures. Police teams are continuing their efforts to capture the attackers.
