His son caused a fatal accident... Another scandal from Bülent Cihantimur: What happened after the surgery he performed
Aesthetician Bülent Cihantimur had come to the public's attention following the fatal accident involving his son, Timur Cihantimur. This time, Cihantimur's name has surfaced in connection with another scandal.
Aesthetician Bülent Cihantimur had returned to the spotlight following the fatal accident involving his son, Timur Cihantimur.
However, this time, his name is associated with a health scandal. Z.T., who consulted Cihantimur for hip replacement surgery in 2022, was left paralyzed due to a botched operation.
According to the report in Sabah, the young woman, who began experiencing unbearable pain after the surgery, had to have a battery implanted in her spine due to the incorrectly placed prosthesis. Z.T. learned that this battery needs to be replaced every six years and that the cost of this is 1.5 million TL.
The woman took the situation to the prosecutor's office and filed a criminal complaint against Cihantimur, but no results were achieved through the mediation process.
'I WOKE UP FROM SURGERY PARALYZED'
Z.T., who has been undergoing physical therapy for three years and is confined to a wheelchair, described the difficult process she went through as follows:
“Bülent Cihantimur performed a hip replacement surgery on me in 2022. I woke up from the surgery with both my legs paralyzed. The silicone that should have been placed under the skin was placed under the muscle. This error led to severe sciatic nerve damage. I am now a disabled individual and have to live with a battery in my spine.”
'MANY THINGS ARE FORBIDDEN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE'
Z.T., who covered all her treatment expenses with her own means, stated that the doctor's error was also documented by medical board reports and said the following:
“For the rest of my life, it is forbidden for me to get pregnant, drive a car, or exercise. Bülent Cihantimur kicked me out of the hospital. Because I could not receive physical therapy after the battery was implanted in my spine, my paralyzed leg broke, and I attempted suicide during this process.”
The young woman, who remained in intensive care for 17 days, said that her right wrist is also paralyzed and that she is struggling with unbearable pain. Z.T. stated that she is condemned to a battery for life and that it remains uncertain whether she will ever regain her health.
