After İlhan İrem left his entire estate to his wife, his brother Erkan Aldatmaz's daughter, Güliz Aldatmaz Gökçadır, had filed a lawsuit claiming she had a right to the inheritance.
According to the report in Hürriyet, a new development has occurred in the two-year-long case. İrem's will was read to the heirs.

“My fully authorized and sole heir is my wife, Hansu İrem. In the event of her passing, all authority shall belong to my wife's nieces, Alım Tatar and Derin Tatar.”
