İpek Kıraç applies to court over father's marriage: 'The report is forged'

The surprise marriage of İnan Kıraç, a well-known figure in the Turkish business world, to Emine Alangoya continues to shake the agenda. The 87-year-old businessman's marriage has been taken to court by his daughter, İpek Kıraç. İpek Kıraç filed a lawsuit at the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse for the annulment of her father's marriage, stating in the court petition that he was "not of sound mind."

FILED FOR ANNULMENT OF MARRIAGE

According to the report by Toygun Atilla in Patronlar Dünyası, the marriage of İnan Kıraç, who tied the knot with Emine Alangoya at the end of last year, has been taken to the judiciary by his daughter, İpek Kıraç.

Applying to the Istanbul Anatolian 18th Family Court, İpek Kıraç claimed that her father's decision to marry was made during a period when he was not of sound mind, and alleged that this situation was exploited.

In the petition she submitted to the court, İpek Kıraç expressed her doubts regarding İnan Kıraç's health status and requested the "annulment of the marriage."

CHALLENGED THE REPORT

The petition questioned the validity of the "of sound mind" report that İnan Kıraç received from Yeditepe University Hospital before the marriage. İpek Kıraç's lawyers alleged that this report was fabricated and requested an examination of security camera footage and HTS (Historical Traffic Search) records of his phone to determine whether İnan Kıraç had actually visited the hospital.

In the petition, the lawyers requested that the report in question be declared invalid and that the marriage be annulled.

THEY MARRIED SECRETLY

The marriage of İnan Kıraç and Emine Alangoya was performed secretly on December 20, 2024, in the office of Büyükçekmece Mayor Hasan Akgün.

It was learned that 75-year-old Emine Alangoya has entered into marriage for the fourth time with this union.
