The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office accepted the indictment prepared today regarding the investigation into the CHP's 38th Ordinary Convention, conducted in accordance with Article 112 of the Law on Political Parties and other relevant legislative provisions. The indictment seeks prison sentences of up to 3 years for 12 people, including the detained Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. In addition to İmamoğlu, names such as İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay and CHP İstanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik were also included. In the indictment, former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was listed as a victim, and former Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Lütfü Savaş was listed as a complainant. The second hearing will be held on June 30.
