Major operation targeting celebrities! Ayşe Barım detail draws attention

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched a comprehensive investigation on charges of "using drugs or stimulants." Within the scope of the investigation, teams from the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Narcotics Branch took many famous names from their homes in the early morning hours.

The prosecutor's office stated that the procedures were not within the scope of a detention order, and that the suspects would only be taken to health institutions under police and gendarmerie escort to have blood samples taken. It was learned that their statements would be taken following the process of taking the celebrities to health institutions.

Journalist İsmail Saymaz, who evaluated the investigation, shared notable information in his statement during a live broadcast on Halk TV.

Saymaz stated, "Three of those taken into custody are actors represented by Ayşe Barım. Defne Samyeli, the mother of the Talu sisters, was a guest on Fatih Altaylı's program a short while ago. Hadise has recently been on the agenda due to her attire. Demet Evgar carries out work on women's rights and is known for her opposition identity."
