Former referee and commentator Ahmet Çakar was taken into custody as part of a betting investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Lawyer Bışar Özbey, owner of the BTV YouTube channel and Ahmet Çakar's former boss, described his conversation with the famous commentator.

Speaking on his own channel, Bışar Özbey stated that Ahmet Çakar denied the allegations put forward by Cem Küçük.
