The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry began sharing the list of companies engaged in imitation and adulteration with the public as of October 2.

COMPANY NAMES ARE BEING PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED

According to a report in the Türkiye newspaper, known for its proximity to the government, companies that engage in food fraud have been exposed in a list shared with the public at "guvenilirgida.tarimorman.gov.tr". The list clearly states the type of fraud committed, the non-compliance, and the names of the products and brands involved.

In the list dated October 8, it was announced that imitation and adulteration were detected in many products such as thyme, honey, sucuk, raw Adana kebab, herbal paste, and olive oil.

HEART USED IN RAW ADANA KEBAB

According to those on the list, it was observed that seed oils were detected in olive oil, pharmaceutical active ingredients in herbal paste, offal (heart) in raw Adana kebab, and poultry meat in Kangal sausage.
