'Nationalist votes' leave their mark on ORC's Istanbul and Ankara poll! Here are the parties' vote shares...
ORC Research has published the results of its latest poll conducted in Istanbul and Ankara. Nationalist votes left their mark on the survey.
ORC Research conducted a general election poll in Ankara and Istanbul between August 16-18. The most striking detail in the poll, where the CHP and AKP are running neck-and-neck, was the nationalist votes. Nationalist votes, which rose to 21 percent in Ankara, remained at 15.6 percent in Istanbul.
The results of the Ankara poll, which was conducted with 1,659 participants who were asked the question, “If there were a general election this Sunday, which party would you vote for?”, were as follows:
CHP: 32.5 percent
AKP: 30.9 percent
MHP: 8.4 percent
İYİ Party: 6.2 percent
Victory Party (Zafer Partisi): 4.7 percent
New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi): 3.3 percent
DEM Party: 3.2 percent
BBP: 2.3 percent
YMP: 1.9 percent
A Party: 1.7 percent
Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi): 1.4 percent
TİP: 1.3 percent
Other: 2.2 percent
It was noted that in Ankara, the total votes of the MHP, İYİ Party, Victory Party, and Anahtar Party reached 21 percent of the nationalist voter base.
The Istanbul poll, where the question “If there were a general election this Sunday, which party would you vote for?” was asked, was conducted between August 16-18 with 2,200 participants.
The results were as follows:
CHP: 31.7 percent
AKP: 31.2 percent
DEM Party: 7.3 percent
MHP: 5.2 percent
İYİ Party: 4.5 percent
Victory Party (Zafer Partisi): 4.1 percent
New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi): 3.5 percent
TİP: 2.5 percent
YMP: 2.2 percent
Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi): 2 percent
BBP: 1.9 percent
A Party: 1.8 percent
Other: 2.1 percent
It was observed that in Istanbul, the total vote share of the MHP, Victory Party, İYİ Party, and Anahtar Party remained at 15.6 percent.
