New claim in the Narin Güran murder case: Salim Güran's lawyer reveals Narin's killer!

A new development has occurred in the case regarding the death of 8-year-old Narin Güran in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır. While three people, including Narin's uncle Salim Güran, were sentenced to life imprisonment with no possibility of parole, a striking statement came from Salim Güran's lawyer, Onur Akdağ.

Lawyer Onur Akdağ, who is registered with the Diyarbakır Bar Association, stated in a post on his social media account, "Narin was strangled to death by Nevzat Bahtiyar on August 21 at 15:13... How do I know?" Akdağ stated that he would support this claim with concrete data, adding, "A little more patience."

In the continuation of his statement, lawyer Akdağ referred to both technical data and visual evidence. "The charging data to be announced today and the enhanced footage we will present in the future will clarify this claim," said Akdağ, signaling that a new process could begin in the case.

Within the scope of the investigation into the death of Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found by a stream in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district on August 21, 2023, family members including uncle Salim Güran and two others were sentenced to life imprisonment with no possibility of parole.

Neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar, who resided in the same neighborhood at the time of the incident, was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison for "tampering with evidence" and certain "crimes of negligence."
