New detail emerges in the suspicious death of Roketsan engineer Yücel

Yusuf Serdar Yücel, who worked as a software engineer at Roketsan, which has become an international player in rocket and missile production, was found dead in his home.

WHY DID ROKETSAN ENGINEER YUSUF SERDAR YÜCEL DIE?

The incident took place on January 3 in Ankara. Friends who could not reach Yücel reported the situation to the police. Police and medical teams, who opened the door of the house with the help of a locksmith, encountered Yücel's lifeless body.

It was alleged that the young engineer ended his life by drinking a chemical mixture, and that this substance was sodium nitrate.

HE HAD LOCKED THE DOOR FROM THE INSIDE

A wide-ranging investigation has been launched into the death of Yusuf, who was employed at Roketsan. Both the homicide bureau and cyber police are examining the file.

According to the report by Sabah, homicide bureau police determined during their investigation at the engineer's home that the door was locked from the inside.

While no signs of burglary were observed in the house, no suicide note was found either.

HE PURCHASED SODIUM NITRATE IN DECEMBER

Cyber police, meanwhile, placed the young engineer's phone under scrutiny.

Yücel's recent phone calls and his internet search history were examined. It was determined that the engineer had purchased sodium nitrate online in December using his own credit card.

HIS TRANSACTIONS ARE BEING EXAMINED

Which brokerage firm or bank Yücel used to trade which stocks most recently has also been taken under investigation.

Teams also determined that Yücel had been trading heavily on the stock market in the recent period.
