New development in the Ayşe Tokyaz murder... He offered money to a taxi driver to dispose of the body

In Istanbul's Küçükçekmece district, 21-year-old Ayşe Tokyaz was murdered by her boyfriend. The young woman's lifeless body was found in a suitcase on the side of a road in Kemerburgaz. As new information regarding the murder comes to light, the investigation into the incident, which has shocked the public, is deepening.

SUSPECT TURNS OUT TO BE A FORMER POLICE OFFICER

The background of Cemil Koç, who was taken into custody as the murder suspect, is also noteworthy. It has been determined that Koç previously served as a police officer but was dismissed from the profession due to accusations of "misconduct in office" and "bribery" while working at a police station. 

Allegations also include that he had previously been the subject of an operation regarding the possession of illegal firearms, during which weapons were seized.

According to the allegations, the young woman had been subjected to violence by her boyfriend for some time. On the evening of July 9, around 19:30, the pair arrived at the address in Küçükçekmece. The argument that broke out in the house that same night ended in a horrific manner. The suspect, Cemil Koç, beat Ayşe Tokyaz to death.

After the murder, Koç remained in the house for hours, spending time with the young woman's lifeless body. He then took action to dispose of the body by placing it in a suitcase.
