The wave of protests that began following the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu turned into a call for an economic boycott among social media users.

Many celebrities supported the boycott organized for April 2 with their social media posts. It was decided that Aybüke Pusat, who was among these names, would leave the series by the decision of the TRT management.
