New development regarding the Kartalkaya fire! Inspection supervisor released
Ali Ağaoğlu, an official from the inspection firm FQC Global Danışmanlık A.Ş. who was taken into custody as part of the investigation into the hotel fire at the Kartalkaya Ski Center, has been released under judicial control. It is stated that Ağaoğlu is an official of the company that conducts annual fire, safety, and hygiene inspections.
Halit Ergül, the owner of the Grand Kartal Hotel, claimed in his statement to the prosecutor's office, "We sign a contract every year with FQC Global Danışmanlık A.Ş. regarding inspections. This company comes at least every 2 years to inspect the hotel in terms of fire, safety, hygiene, and every other aspect."
HAD BEEN TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Within the framework of the ongoing investigation, Ali Ağaoğlu, an official of FQC Global Danışmanlık A.Ş., was taken into custody in Istanbul and brought to Bolu.
RELEASED
After being processed by the gendarmerie, Ağaoğlu was referred to the courthouse and released under judicial control.
