So far, 20 people have been arrested as part of the investigation, which also includes the names of footballers and club executives. Among them is Karagümrük player Kerem Yusuf Sirkeci, who was found to have placed a bet on the Fenerbahçe-Karagümrük match.

It has emerged that Sirkeci placed an "over 1.5 goals" bet on the Fenerbahçe-Karagümrük match played on October 19, 2025. Digital records show that a picture of the winning betting slip was also sent.

While this development further expands the scope of the investigation, most of the suspected footballers are among those found to have accounts on betting sites.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has denied allegations regarding an investigation launched into Galatasaray footballers Barış Alper Yılmaz and Abdülkerim Bardakçı.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that no investigation is being conducted regarding these players. Galatasaray Sports Club, on the other hand, stated that they will file a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office against the perception operations and manipulations targeting their players.

Among the footballers arrested as part of the investigation, in addition to Karagümrük's Kerem Yusuf Sirkeci, are Pendikspor player Emircan Çiçek and former Antalyaspor executive Emrah Çelik.

It was determined that Çiçek placed bets on Amedspor and Erzurumspor matches during his time playing for Pendikspor. Allegations were raised against Çelik regarding betting during his time as an executive at Antalyaspor.
