New footage of the Serdar Öktem assassination emerges: Hitmen at a gas station half an hour later

In the assassination that took place in Şişli, Istanbul, on October 6, 2025, former Ülkü Ocakları President and MHP lawyer Serdar Öktem, a defendant in the Sinan Ateş case, was shot and killed by motorcycle-borne assailants while driving his vehicle on Büyükdere Avenue.

The manner in which the incident was carried out and Öktem's connections have strengthened the possibility that the murder was committed by the criminal organization known as the Daltonlar.

ATTEMPT TO RETALIATE

According to information reported by Star Haber, Öktem attempted to retaliate when he was attacked with long-barreled automatic weapons. Realizing he was being followed, Öktem drew his weapon from his waistband, but was killed before he could pull the trigger, despite having chambered a round. Öktem's weapon was seized by the police for examination.

The clearest footage of the hitmen who carried out the assassination was recorded at a gas station just half an hour after the incident. The footage shows the movements of the attackers after the event in detail.

It was stated that the mastermind behind the murder is the second-in-command of the Daltonlar, who has gone into hiding in Russia.

Following the incident, 13 individuals, reported to be under the age of 18, were detained. It was learned that the long-barreled weapons used by the attackers were obtained from another criminal organization.
