Number of secret witnesses grows in Mehmet Akif Ersoy investigation: Massive blackmail network uncovered

The drug and prostitution investigation engulfing the worlds of art, sports, and media continues to shake Turkey's agenda. The investigation, conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has expanded with the detention of famous figures. Following the arrest of former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy and presenter Ela Rümeysa Cebeci, striking statements regarding new allegations and a blackmail network have begun to emerge within the scope of the investigation.

ALLEGATIONS OF MEHMET AKİF ERSOY'S BLACKMAIL NETWORK

One of the most striking allegations in the investigation file is that Mehmet Akif Ersoy established a blackmail network. According to the testimony of a secret witness, Ersoy created a blackmail ring by pimping a person named "E.A." to bureaucrats, businesspeople, and state officials. The witness stated that Ersoy used this method to set traps for many high-level figures and that some individuals were arrested or released thanks to these blackmails.

It is alleged that Ersoy introduced E.A. as one of the people he used most frequently at drug parties and conducted his financial and legal affairs through this relationship. Furthermore, it was stated that E.A.'s sister was also saved from arrest thanks to this blackmail network.

Another name included in the investigation file is real estate agent Ufuk Tetik. According to the witness, Tetik acquired a great fortune thanks to his close relationship with Mehmet Akif Ersoy and his name was mentioned in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) files. It is alleged that Tetik engaged in "case-closing" activities and gained significant advantages by using these relationships.

NEW NAMES ADDED TO THE FILE

As the investigation progresses, it has been learned that new names are being added to the file. In line with the testimonies of secret witnesses, it is stated that many people whose names were not previously heard have been included in the investigation and that new operations may be carried out in the near future.

New operations are expected based on digital materials seized by police units and "private shares" in WhatsApp groups. It is estimated that these materials could change the course of the investigation and that more famous names will emerge.

Another striking detail in the file is the allegations that have emerged regarding Mehmet Akif Ersoy's past. According to the witness, Ersoy's father had him receive special training in Syria and Iran, saying he "raised him for the Islamic Revolution." Additionally, it was stated that Ersoy speaks languages such as Arabic and Persian like a native speaker and showed the witness videos of himself firing long-barreled weapons.

Among the allegations is that Ersoy was rapidly promoted by an organization believed to be based abroad.

Following the testimonies of the secret witnesses, it is stated that the blackmail network in the file is deepening and the investigation could spread to a much wider area. In particular, in light of the information provided by the witnesses, it is thought that many famous and publicly known names may be involved in this criminal network.
