Pension preparations in the AKP: Base salary adjustment is coming... How much will the pension be in the new year?

It is claimed that the government is preparing a new regulation for pensions.

The goal is to increase the lowest pension to 15 thousand TL through a base salary regulation.

REGULATION EXPECTED IN JANUARY

Pensions are determined by inflation data announced every January. Approximately 4 million people in Turkey receive the lowest pension.

With the regulation made in July, the lowest pensions were topped up to 12 thousand 500 TL with state contributions.

According to the report by Kısa Dalga, the government is preparing to make a base salary regulation with a new legislative proposal. This proposal is expected to be submitted to the TBMM in the third week of January.

INCREASE RATES HAVE BECOME CLEAR

According to the Central Bank's year-end inflation forecast, SSK and Bağkur retirees could receive a 16.50 percent raise, while civil servant retirees could receive a 12.26 percent raise.

According to these calculations, the lowest pension rises to 14 thousand 562 TL. However, with the new regulation to be made, it is projected that pensions will rise to 15 thousand TL.
