Pervin Ersoy, wife of Minister Ersoy, reacts sharply to the poster for the series 'Gassal'

The 'Who will wash me when I die?' posters used in the advertising campaign for the series 'Gassal', which will be broadcast on TRT's digital platform 'tabii', have become a major topic of discussion.

The public has shown a strong reaction to the posters hung all over Istanbul.

Another reaction to the posters, which have been talked about for days and feature the text 'Who will wash me when I die?', came from Pervin Ersoy, wife of Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.

"IN AN ISTANBUL WHERE SOMEONE COMMITS SUICIDE EVERY DAY..."

Asking "What is this?" in a post on her social media account, Pervin Ersoy used the following expressions:

“You didn't think about those who have lost loved ones, those who are alone in life, or those caring for sick parents; you wrote such a phrase and put it everywhere. It is already bad enough.

As if that weren't enough, I wonder if the reason for putting this poster in Marmaray and subways in an Istanbul where perhaps one person commits suicide every day is to create a call-to-action for suicide.”
