Pınar Eczacıbaşı kept her illness hidden from everyone! Her friend shared it on social media

Pınar Eczacıbaşı, a member of the Young Managers and Business People Association (GYİAD) High Advisory Board and founding president of the Turkey-Luxembourg Business Council, is being laid to rest today.

Eczacıbaşı's funeral will take place today following the noon prayer at the Zincirlikuyu Mosque, and she will be buried in the Zincirlikuyu Cemetery next to her parents, Gülçin and Vedat Eczacıbaşı. The family has requested that donations be made to the Turkish Education Foundation instead of sending wreaths.

'YOU HID YOUR ILLNESS, YOU FOUND EXCUSES FOR YOUR ABSENCE'

Esra Oflaz Güvenkaya, a close friend of Pınar Eczacıbaşı, shared the following message after her passing:

"My dear Pınar, I am so, so sad; words are insufficient. Every death is an early death for those who love, but did this sudden departure have to happen now? You hid your illness, you found excuses for your absence, you always said 'I'm fine.'

When we spoke a few weeks ago, didn't you say in your cheerful voice, 'Come on, go and come back, let's meet when you return from London, don't worry about me, if there was something wrong I would tell you'? But here it is... You didn't tell me. You have passed to the other dimension with your very strong, warrior, beautiful but wounded heart.

You have reunited with your late father and mother. You didn't want a final farewell, but my heart is shattered, my beautiful friend; I am taking refuge in the memories we shared for years, visiting them one by one in my mind.

You always wanted us to remain in our beautiful memories and the photos where we looked good. You would get angry when I deleted them. But there are so many that they wouldn't fit. You were an inspiration to many women. I love you very much, I will miss you dearly. Goodbye, my Pınar, until we meet again!"
