Pro-government journalist makes bombshell claim regarding Kılıçdaroğlu's decision on İmamoğlu! 'If he had returned to the CHP...'

CHP's 7th Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu spent the weekend in Istanbul after attending the wedding of Mehmet Sevigen's son at the Çırağan Palace.

Kılıçdaroğlu first went to Edirne to visit imprisoned former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, and then stopped by Silivri Prison to visit Gezi prisoners TİP MP Can Atalay and former Chamber of City Planners Istanbul Branch President Tayfun Kahraman, as well as former CHP Sarıyer Mayor Şükrü Genç and Adana Metropolitan Mayor Zeydan Karalar.

It was noted that Kılıçdaroğlu did not meet with Ekrem İmamoğlu, the CHP's presidential candidate and Mayor of Istanbul (İBB), who is currently imprisoned in Silivri and faces up to 2,352 years in prison.

According to a report by Timur Soykan, it was learned that Kılıçdaroğlu planned to meet with Ekrem İmamoğlu after reviewing the İBB indictment.

Kılıçdaroğlu's failure to visit İmamoğlu and Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat in Silivri has sparked various claims in political circles.

TGRT Haber Ankara Representative Fatih Atik, known for his proximity to the government, noted that Kılıçdaroğlu 'skipping' İmamoğlu and Rıza Akpolat was a significant indicator.

Atik put forward a striking claim regarding the decision Kılıçdaroğlu would have made about İmamoğlu and Akpolat had he returned to the CHP.

Atik stated, "Kılıçdaroğlu did not visit Rıza Akpolat along with İmamoğlu. If Kemal Bey had returned, he would have expelled İmamoğlu and Akpolat. He would have told them, 'Clear your names and then come back.'"

In a previous interview, Kılıçdaroğlu had said about the pro-government journalist Fatih Atik, "I follow your commentaries on TGRT Haber with appreciation. Thank you for your objective journalism."
