The names of 8 out of 150 artists caught in the investigation by the Tax Inspection Board of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance have been reached.
As a result of the inspections conducted by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance's Tax Inspection Board (VDK) within the scope of its audits on unregistered income, it was determined that there was a discrepancy between the income and tax declarations of 150 artists.
In this context, it was found that a single actor had left more than 100 million liras of income undeclared in one year.
According to a report by the Günaydın newspaper, known for its proximity to the government, it is estimated that the total amount of hidden money resulting from these inspections is 1 billion 500 million TL.
