ALLEGATION OF 25 THOUSAND LIRA WEEKLY PROTECTION MONEY
According to the allegations, Bayraktar went to the restaurant last week with five other people and told the business owner, "Others are going to take over this place, we will protect you, you will pay 25 thousand lira per week."
LOWERED THE PROTECTION MONEY AMOUNT
However, when Bayraktar did not receive his initial demand, he allegedly returned to the venue yesterday afternoon and this time lowered the amount of protection money he was demanding from 25 thousand to 10 thousand lira.
POLICE TOOK ACTION
Upon the incident being reported to the police, teams took action and the famous actor was detained. Ufuk Bayraktar was taken to the police station to provide a statement, and the proceedings are ongoing.
HAS A PREVIOUS PRISON SENTENCE
Bayraktar, who previously received a six-month prison sentence due to an incident he was involved in in 2007, played the younger version of the Ramiz Dayı character, portrayed by Tuncel Kurtiz in Ezel.
