"We are making a special effort to protect nature, cultural assets, and historical monuments. We have many historical riches. There is a 15th-century monument here. The Kara Yusuf Bey Tomb was damaged in the Van earthquakes. With the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums, and our Governorship, we have taken a beautiful monument under protection. There is an Ayatul Kursi in the shape of an arch on the tomb. It has been restored without damaging its historical texture. I would like to thank all the colleagues who contributed."
