Retirement pension hike finalized: When will the first payments be made?

According to the inflation rates announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the raise rates for retiree and civil servant pensions in January 2025 have been finalized.

Inflation, which rose by 1.64 percent in June, stood at 44.34 percent on an annual basis. These rates enabled the determination of the raise rates covering the January-July 2025 period for retirees and civil servants.

The raise rates applied to pensions under the SSK (4A), Bağ-Kur (4B), and Emekli Sandığı (4C) systems are as follows:

Civil servants and civil servant retirees: 11.54%

SSK, Bağ-Kur, and agricultural retirees: 15.74%

The increased pensions are expected to be deposited into accounts starting from January 17, 2025. The monthly payment schedule has been determined based on the last digit of the allocation number and the retiree's status.

4A (SSK) Pension Payment Schedule:

Those with an allocation number ending in 9: January 17

Those with an allocation number ending in 7: January 18

Those with an allocation number ending in 5: January 19

Those with an allocation number ending in 3: January 20

Those with an allocation number ending in 1: January 21

Those with an allocation number ending in 8: January 22

Those with an allocation number ending in 6: January 23

Those with an allocation number ending in 4: January 24

Those with an allocation number ending in 2: January 25

Those with an allocation number ending in 0: January 26

4B (Bağ-Kur) Pension Payment Schedule:

Those with an allocation number ending in 9, 7, and 5: January 25

Those with an allocation number ending in 3 and 1: January 26

Those with an allocation number ending in 8, 6, and 4: January 27

Those with an allocation number ending in 2 and 0: January 28

4C (Emekli Sandığı) Pension Payment Schedule:

Emekli Sandığı pensions are paid every three months, and payment dates vary according to the date of birth.

For the months of January, April, July, and October:

Those with birth dates between 00-33: 1st day

Those with birth dates between 34-37: 2nd day

Those with birth dates between 38-40: 3rd day

Those with birth dates between 41-43: 4th day

Those with birth dates between 44-99: 5th day
