The trailer for the series "Esas Oğlan," which is set to be released on a digital platform on November 22, was published in recent days.

TikTok, however, alleged that the trailer violated community guidelines due to claims of sexual content, and the trailer was removed from the platform.

Hadise and Seda Bakan, the lead actresses of the series, reacted to this ban by TikTok through posts on Instagram.

"I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING SINCE THE BEGINNING OF MY CAREER"

Hadise stated, "Since the beginning of my career, I have been fighting to perform on stage and shoot music videos freely as a woman. From the time my music video was banned during the Eurovision period for being deemed 'erotic,' to my 'Sıfır Tolerans' video, I have faced many obstacles. When male artists kiss or make love in their videos, it is not banned for them, but when women go beyond hugging, it becomes 'immoral'! Now, the trailer for our new series 'Esas Oğlan' has been banned on TikTok. I am laughing because isn't this just ridiculous? Don't these platforms claim to defend freedom? Content where all kinds of videos are shared, where children are used incorrectly, and where bodies are exposed to make money is allowed, but love scenes are declared 'immoral.' While scenes of rape, weapons, and illegal substances are accepted, why are love scenes banned?"

Seda Bakan also expressed her reaction, saying, "The trailer for our series 'Esas Oğlan' was banned on TikTok because of love scenes. It is very sad to even have to make this statement. We filmed a romantic comedy series that is very fun, sincere, and tells the experiences of women in a realistic language. I hope that one day, female actors can continue their lives without being subjected to moral policing and social pressure, just like male actors. In this world, we are all the product of love scenes."
