Shock departure from Kızılcık Şerbeti! Poster crisis ignited the fuse...
Show TV's hit series Kızılcık Şerbeti has been frequently criticized with its new season. Following the recent poster crisis, veteran actor Kaan Taşaner made harsh statements and decided to leave the cast, stating that he was unhappy with the direction the series was taking.
Kaan Taşaner, who played the character of Giray in Kızılcık Şerbeti, had joined the series later on and decided to leave shortly after. Moreover, he did not stop there and did not mince his words.
Speaking to Magazin Hattı, Taşaner said, “The direction of the story did not evolve in the way I wanted. I think this was for the best.
It didn't start out tragic, but it became so later on. I will continue to read scripts. Once bitten, twice shy,” he stated.
HE WAS ANGRY ABOUT NOT BEING ON THE POSTER
Kaan Taşaner had also expressed his resentment about not being included in the season 3 poster. At the time, the actor had used the following expressions:
"The absence of respect, while less aggressive than an explicit insult, can be just as hurtful. For example, one might not be insulting the person opposite them, but their existence as a human being is not acknowledged. This person is not seen as a complete human being whose existence matters. When a society singles out only a few people and treats the rest of the masses this way, it creates a scarcity of respect.
As if there isn't enough of this precious gem to go around for everyone. Like most famines; this scarcity is man-made, and unlike food, respect has no cost. So why should respect be so scarce?"
