Sleeping constantly to see Narin Güran in her dreams: Yüksel Güran's request from prison surprises

Striking details have emerged in the case of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who was found to have been murdered after going missing on August 21 in Tavşantepe Village, located in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır.

Her mother, Yüksel Güran, who turned a blind eye to the little girl's death and participated in the murder, was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment.

According to a report by Hüseyin Kaçar from Sabah, Yüksel Güran, who is currently in prison, submitted a request to the administration to learn how to read and write. It was also alleged that Güran, who stated in her application through her lawyer that she wanted to receive education, sleeps frequently in order to see her daughter in her dreams.

THEY WAITED FOR HER TO DIE

According to the reasoned decision announced by the court, Narin Güran was brought home injured on the day of the incident, but her mother Yüksel Güran, her older brother Enes Güran, and her uncle Salim Güran waited for the little girl to die instead of helping her.

It was determined that Yüksel Güran, despite knowing that her daughter was dead, tried to cover up the murder by attempting to protect the defendant Enes Güran.

The case file also included allegations of an illicit affair between Yüksel Güran and her uncle Salim Güran. However, the court evaluated this claim as a statement fabricated to conceal the actual motive for the murder.

HER LIFELESS BODY WAS BURIED IN THE CREEK

Following the murder, little Narin's lifeless body was buried by the defendant Nevzat Bahtiyar in Eğertutmaz Creek, 1.5 kilometers away from the village.

While the court sentenced Nevzat Bahtiyar to 4 years and 6 months in prison for the crime of "concealing and destroying evidence," the mother Yüksel Güran, the brother Enes Güran, and the uncle Salim Güran were sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment for the crime of "jointly committing the murder of a child."
