Statement from the Diyarbakır Governor's Office on Narin Güran! Was a search conducted with faith healers?

The Diyarbakır Governor's Office issued a statement regarding reports titled "The Governor's Office had denied it, but footage has emerged: They searched for Narin with a faith healer."

In the statement from the Governor's Office, it was noted that the reports appearing on certain social media accounts and various press outlets regarding the matter were inaccurate and misleading to the public.

The statement included the following:

"During the period when Narin Güran was being sought as a missing person, family members, on their own initiative, met with certain individuals referred to as 'faith healers,' and these individuals conducted a brief search in the village.

Upon being notified by medical personnel who were suspicious of the situation, gendarmerie personnel intervened in the incident.

The gendarmerie's intervention in the incident consisted solely of investigating and questioning these individuals; there is absolutely no question of gendarmerie personnel requesting assistance from these individuals to find Narin Güran."
