Strict olive oil inspection by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry: 5 brands recalled

The 'Foods Subject to Imitation or Adulteration' list, which began to be published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in October, continues to be updated.

With the additions made today, a major update was brought to the list, and 5 new olive oil brands containing substances harmful to health or intended to deceive consumers became a trending topic on social media.

The published list stated that 4 olive oil brands offered for sale in markets and e-commerce platforms used illicit products.

According to the report in Ekonomim, the brands in question were listed as follows:

5-liter natural extra virgin olive oil under the Bizim Ayvalık brand produced by SSC GRUP TARIM GIDA ZEYTİNYAĞI TİC. LTD. ŞTİ.

2-liter natural extra virgin olive oil under the Ayvalık brand produced by HİLAL HAYVANSAL ÜRÜNLER

5-liter natural extra virgin olive oil under the Mudanya Köy Koop brand produced by MALATYA PAZARI

5-liter natural extra virgin olive oil under the Milas Koop brand produced by E.A.T TARIM ÜRÜNLERİ
