Striking allegations regarding Ece Gürel's death: Mobbing and spiritual interest

Gürel, who was taken to Maslak Acıbadem Hospital after being found in a rugged forested area late last night and was determined to have suffered from hypothermia due to being exposed to the cold for a long time, experienced cardiac arrest during her treatment.

INTUBATED AND TAKEN TO INTENSIVE CARE

After being resuscitated by doctors, Gürel was intubated and moved to the intensive care unit.

It was learned that Gürel passed away despite the interventions.

TRAGIC NEWS ARRIVED

Following the delivery of the tragic news to the family waiting in front of the intensive care unit, there was activity in front of the hospital. Relatives who came to the hospital to get information and console the family waited in the hospital courtyard for a while.

Crime Scene Investigation teams arrived at the hospital, where tight security measures were in place, to conduct an examination. Police teams also stood by and tried to console Gürel's mother, Gülşen Koçoğlu, and father, Muharrem Koçoğlu, who were waiting for the procedures at the hospital to be completed. Ece Gürel's body, which was taken from Maslak Acıbadem Hospital, was transported to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.

STRIKING ALLEGATIONS REGARDING HER DISAPPEARANCE

On the other hand, striking allegations have emerged regarding Ece's disappearance in the Belgrade Forest. According to these, it was learned that Gürel had an interest in spiritual events.

ALLEGATION OF INTEREST IN SPIRITUAL EVENTS

It was even claimed that she was interested in a New Age cult that has spiritual and mystical characteristics and includes mass meditation. It was also learned that Gürel had 2 different Instagram accounts, one being her personal account and the other focused on fortune-telling.

It was alleged that users asked questions on this account, wanted their affairs to go well, and paid for fortune-telling and lead-pouring rituals.

ALLEGED TO HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO MOBBING

There is also an allegation that Gürel was about to be fired and was even made to sign resignation papers. Ece Gürel's relative, Yusuf Çeştepe, said the following in his statement regarding this issue:

"As far as I know, the argument was not with her spouse. The problem starts at the workplace. She started at the law firm as a secretary; she has a 10-year history there. Her actual profession is landscape architect. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Forestry. She knows the region and is not a stranger to these places; she already spent 4 years of her student life here. She loves nature, she loves taking photos. She is a person who frequently walks in forested areas like this. So she loves places like this. They fired Ece on Friday and made her sign a contract saying you will not receive your severance pay. They put her in the same room with 4-5 lawyers. We don't know what kind of psychological pressure she was under there, what happened, or what kind of mobbing was applied. We don't even know if it was a 1-week or 10-day process. Ece's problem at the workplace started when it snowed. When it snowed, Ece said, 'I'll resign then,' and there was an argument between them. Afterwards, they made Ece work for another week. At the beginning of the week, they asked Ece, 'Are you going to work?' She said, 'I will work, I said it in anger, I will not resign.' On Monday, they said okay. They made her work until Friday; on Friday, at the end of the shift, they called Ece into the room. They said, 'Since you said those words, you will sign.' They pressured Ece and she signed."

Çeştepe said, "Ece would meditate, she would read tarot cards. She loved to meditate, she loved those things they call energy, she was curious about those things. We think that is the reason she came here. We think she came for meditation. We think she came to relax, but unfortunately, we cannot find where. We don't know what condition she is in right now. We are waiting to find Ece safe and sound; we don't want to think negatively. A week ago, we were saying 'She wouldn't do that.' We don't know what kind of situation she was exposed to during this 10-day process. We hope to find Ece. Hopefully, that will be the case. That is our hope."

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

Gürel went missing after leaving her home in Kağıthane's Gültepe neighborhood on Sunday, March 2, saying she was going to the Belgrade Forest for a walk, and a large-scale search operation was launched in the forest with the participation of numerous search and rescue teams following a report from her relatives.

Gürel's mobile phone and some personal belongings were found on March 4 during the search efforts carried out in the Belgrade Forest, and Gürel, who was found in a rugged forested area at 01:15 last night as a result of the 4-day work of the teams, was taken to Maslak Acıbadem Hospital.
