Striking reference to Dilan Polat and Sıla Doğu's kiss in the series Deha

The character Devran, played by Aras Bulut İynemli, had already made a reference to the goal celebration of world-famous footballer Arda Güler in the very first episode.

Later, he also recreated the legendary pose of Yusuf Dikeç, who won Turkey's first-ever Olympic medal in shooting.

Creating a storm on social media with every new episode, the latest installment of Deha included a reference to Dilan Polat and Sıla Doğu, who were arrested on charges of 'money laundering' and 'establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes' before being released months later.

In the scene that became a hot topic, İskender points to two sisters at a venue where he went to have fun with his son Ferman and says, "Look at them, they just got out. They moved mountains in 2 years. They are laundering money with shell companies... Everyone knows it. They even went to jail for tax evasion, but look at how nicely they are dancing now because they got away with it."

During the party, they sparked significant backlash on social media after kissing each other on the lips. Polat had stated, "We have been through so much together. Even on the day Sıla was released, she kissed me from my lips to my fingernails. We are sisters."
