Danone, the producer of Birşah milk sold at A101 stores, released a statement announcing that the faulty products were recalled due to a technical glitch during the production phase.

In our facility where we produce milk and dairy products, drinkable water is used at the beginning of production to ensure temperature balance, as required by the UHT milk production technology.

It has been determined that an isolated technical glitch occurred for approximately one minute on the production line of the 1-liter 3.1% fat UHT drinking milk under the Birşah brand, which we produce, and as a result, drinkable water was mistakenly packaged in approximately the first 100 liters (100 packages) of the product with batch number 176.L.

"NO GLITCH THAT WOULD AFFECT PUBLIC HEALTH"

The limited amount of product containing approximately 100 liters of drinkable water does not pose a danger that would affect public health.
