The 1 million lira question on 'Kim Milyoner Olmak İster' surprised everyone!

Exciting moments took place on the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" competition, hosted by Oktay Kaynarca on ATV.

20-year-old Ankara-born Duhan Başar Ahmetoğlu managed to reach the 1 million lira question with his knowledge and courage. The answer to the grand prize question, which was about cinema, was also awaited by viewers watching at home.

The 1 million lira question posed to the contestant was as follows:

“Which of these films, which entered the top four as a result of a public vote conducted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism under the name 'Top 100 Turkish Films' with more than 360 thousand unique votes cast, came in first place?”

B) Dry Summer (Susuz Yaz)

C) The Bandit (Eşkıya)

D) The Chaos Class (Hababam Sınıfı)

COULD NOT ANSWER, DECIDED TO WITHDRAW

Duhan Başar Ahmetoğlu decided to withdraw, stating that he did not know the answer to the question. He noted that if he had decided to continue the competition, he would have answered with option 'C', The Bandit, whereas the correct answer was option 'B', Dry Summer. Ahmetoğlu left the competition having won 500,000 TL.

Following the program, comments were made on social media suggesting that the question asked was not worthy of a 1 million TL prize.
