The 6 soldiers who were martyred in the helicopter crash in Isparta have been sent to their hometowns

The bodies of Isparta Army Aviation School Commander Brigadier General İsa Baydilli, Lieutenant Mustafa Atakan Dut, Lieutenant Ceyhun Kalyoncu, Lieutenant Tunahan Dağlı, Senior Sergeant Hüseyin İpek, and Sergeant Taha Nergiz, who were martyred as a result of the helicopter crash, were received by military officials after the completion of the procedures.

The coffins of the martyrs, draped in the Turkish flag, were brought to Süleyman Demirel Airport under escort.

At the military ceremony held there, the biographies of the martyrs were read and prayers were recited.

The bodies of the martyrs were then placed on a military aircraft and sent to their hometowns.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak, force commanders, Isparta Governor Abdullah Erin, the families of the martyrs, and military personnel.

Six soldiers, including Isparta Army Aviation School Commander Brigadier General İsa Baydilli, were martyred yesterday morning when one of the helicopters conducting a training flight crashed in the Keçiborlu district of Isparta.
