The deep state's box of secrets... 'Yeşil is still alive'

According to a report by Sözcü, it has emerged that there is no record of Mahmut Yıldırım, known by the codename Yeşil, ever having left the country through legal channels to date.

Yıldırım, whose name was associated with kidnappings in white Renault Toros vehicles, unsolved murders, and extrajudicial executions in the East and Southeast in the early 1990s, also has a population registration record in the family table at the Ministry of Interior's General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs that draws attention. This record, which has remained unchanged since 1995, strengthens claims that Yıldırım is still alive.

YEŞİL'S RECORDS ARE CLOSED

Letters from the Ministry of Finance and Tax Office Directorates reported that no taxpayer records for Mahmut Yıldırım were found. Furthermore, a letter from the General Directorate of Criminal Records and Statistics states that Yıldırım has no criminal record, meaning he has no prior convictions.

Regarding telephone line records belonging to Yıldırım, mobile operators emphasized that although there are numerous phone lines registered in his name, no line matches his Turkish Republic identification number.

Mahmut Yıldırım, codenamed Yeşil, was last alleged to have crossed into Nakhchivan illegally in 2006 after staying in a house in Tuzluca, Iğdır, for 9 days.

This situation was reported to the prosecutor's office by a police officer on duty in Iğdır, who shared footage and photographs. According to prosecutor's office records, Yıldırım appeared as a "civilian official" at the Gendarmerie Intelligence Group Command.

INTERPOL IS SEARCHING

Mahmut Yıldırım, who is wanted by Interpol with a red notice and an arrest warrant, is accused of killing 26 people between 1991 and 1996. Known for the executions he carried out on behalf of the state under the name JİTEM, Yıldırım is accused of kidnapping many people, killing them under torture, and dumping their bodies in sacks at various locations.

According to the case file in which Yıldırım is being tried, important names are among those killed. Those murdered include People's Labor Party (HEP) Diyarbakır Provincial Chair Vedat Aydın, HEP Muş provincial executive Harbi Arman, writer Musa Anter, Human Rights Association (İHD) executive Hasan Kaya, and lawyer Metin Can. Additionally, DEP Nizip Chair Mehmet Şen and Health Union Chair Necati Aydın are also among Yıldırım's victims. Beyond these, it was noted that with a list of 26 people, the number of individuals killed by Yıldırım is even higher.
