The gap is widening in the presidential runoff poll! Erdoğan or İmamoğlu?
The results of a presidential runoff election poll conducted by the HBS Research Company between July 30 and August 3 have been shared with the public. The data obtained highlights the gap between AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the CHP's imprisoned presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
HBS Research announced the results of a presidential runoff poll conducted with 3,200 voters between July 30 and August 3.
The data obtained highlights the gap between the two candidates.
In the poll, citizens were asked to choose between Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ekrem İmamoğlu.
56.3 percent of participants chose İmamoğlu.
43.7 percent responded with Erdoğan.
It was observed that even if the 2.2-point margin of error were added in favor of Erdoğan and subtracted from İmamoğlu, the gap would not close.
