Forbes has made a significant change to its list ranking the world's wealthiest business people. The net worths of Baykar Technology owners Selçuk and Haluk Bayraktar were updated, and their rankings were redetermined.

THEY ENTERED THE LIST LAST YEAR AS WELL

Last year, Selçuk Bayraktar entered the list with a net worth of 1.2 billion dollars, and Haluk Bayraktar with 1.1 billion dollars. However, the increase in the Bayraktar brothers' wealth this year was remarkably reflected in their rankings.

Selçuk Bayraktar, with his 52.5 percent stake in Baykar Technology, increased his personal wealth to 1.8 billion dollars, earning the title of the 15th wealthiest person in Turkey.

Furthermore, Bayraktar also topped the list of Turkey's 2023 income tax record holders, which was published in August 2024.

On the other hand, his older brother Haluk Bayraktar, holding 47.5 percent of Baykar Technology, increased his wealth to 1.6 billion dollars, becoming the 19th wealthiest person in Turkey.

Baykar Technology, having achieved 1.8 billion dollars in exports last year, holds the position of leader in the global unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) export market.

Continuing the same success in 2024, it ranked among the top 10 companies in Turkey with the highest export volume.
