The claims that she was burned turned out to be true. In the trailer for the new episode of MasterChef Turkey, hot oil spills onto Beyza's face while she is flipping a tray of pastry. That footage has now become a major topic of discussion.

In the released trailer, other contestants are first seen warning Beyza not to flip it that way. Eda says, 'Let her do it.' Erim warns her, saying, 'But the oil will spill.'

Beyza then flips the pastry she took off the fire. Just as she flips it, the hot oil spills onto Beyza's face.
