THY adds to blacklist: Who is Abdulkadir Özcan?

An incident that occurred on a Turkish Airlines (THY) flight from Dubai to Istanbul has become a trending topic on social media. Abdülkadir Özcan, who was traveling in Business Class, disturbed both other passengers and the cabin crew after consuming excessive amounts of alcohol. The THY cabin crew refused to serve the passenger more alcohol. However, Özcan continued his behavior, threatened another passenger, and caused a disturbance on the plane.

When the plane landed at Istanbul Airport, the passenger was handed over to law enforcement. In the footage, Özcan is seen making threats to a passenger, saying, "Do you know who I am? I am a billionaire; I could buy Turkey. Who are you?"

Abdülkadir Özcan was a member of the Petlas Board of Directors. In a statement released by Petlas, it was announced that Abdülkadir Özcan had been dismissed from his position. The company issued an apology following the viral video.
