Timur Savcı's cocaine test result revealed

A new stage has been reached in the judicial process conducted against famous producer Timur Savcı as part of the investigation launched following the correspondence that surfaced in the public eye. The report prepared by the Council of Forensic Medicine has been added to the investigation file.

CORRESPONDENCE DEEPENED THE INVESTIGATION

In the drug investigation involving media, the business world, and famous names, a large amount of digital data was examined after presenter Ela Rümeysa Cebeci, considered a key figure, voluntarily handed over the passwords of her two separate mobile phones to law enforcement units.

As a result of these examinations, the identities of individuals who had correspondence with Cebeci regarding the procurement of drugs were determined. One of the names mentioned in the file was identified as famous producer Timur Savcı, a partner at the TİMS&B production company.

Digital analyses revealed that there were messages between Savcı and Cebeci regarding the procurement of drugs. The correspondence that entered the investigation file included information that the parties were making plans to meet.

It was noted that in the messages determined to have taken place on October 25, 2024, Savcı sent his workplace location to Cebeci, and statements were included indicating that they met at the office in Levent at 19.00 that same evening.

“DON'T FORGET MY THC” MESSAGE IN THE FILE

In another message that entered the investigation documents, it was determined that on October 30, 2024, Ela Rümeysa Cebeci sent messages to Timur Savcı referring to THC, the active ingredient in cannabis, saying, “Don't forget my THC, I want to get high” and “we'll try it together.”

Upon these correspondences being evaluated within the scope of drug procurement, judicial proceedings were initiated against Savcı.

PHONE SEIZED, TRAVEL BAN IMPOSED

Following the message contents, Timur Savcı's mobile phone was seized, and a decision was made to impose a travel ban on him. Savcı was taken into custody on December 24.

On the same day, blood and hair samples were taken from Savcı by the Council of Forensic Medicine, and a detailed examination was initiated.

According to the report by Sabah, the report prepared as a result of the Council of Forensic Medicine's examinations stated that no narcotic substances were found in Timur Savcı's blood samples. However, it was recorded that cocaine was detected in the analyses performed on the hair samples.

The report in question has been added to the file as part of the ongoing investigation.

WHAT CHARGES WAS HE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY FOR?

Timur Savcı had been taken into custody on charges of “providing special places, equipment, or materials to facilitate the use of drugs or stimulants, taking measures to make it difficult for users to be caught” and “purchasing, accepting, possessing, or using drugs or stimulants for personal use.”
