TÜİK announces provinces expected to see population growth and decline: 2.8 million increase expected between 2023-2030

According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Turkey's population reached 85 million 372 thousand 377 people last year.

According to TUIK's population projections, Turkey's population is expected to reach 88 million 188 thousand 221 people by 2030. During this period, the country's population will increase by 2 million 815 thousand 844 people.

However, despite this increase, the population of 22 provinces is projected to decline. Meanwhile, 59 provinces will contribute to population growth.
