Verdict announced in Narin murder case! Scandalous decision from Nevzat Bahtiyar's family

The trial regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing after attending a Quran course in Tavşantepe Village in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, has concluded.

Narin's lifeless body was found in the bed of the Eğertutmaz Stream 19 days after she went missing. Following this tragic event, legal proceedings were initiated against many individuals, primarily family members, as part of the investigation.

AGGRAVATED LIFE IMPRISONMENT

The court sentenced Narin's mother Yüksel Güran, her brother Enes Güran, and her uncle Salim Güran to separate aggravated life sentences for the crime of murder by complicity. The court panel stated that the evidence that the defendants committed the crime together was strong and imposed the maximum penalty.

4 YEARS AND 6 MONTHS IN PRISON FOR BAHTİYAR, WHO CONFESSED TO TRANSPORTING THE BODY TO THE STREAM

Nevzat Bahtiyar, one of the most notable figures in the case, had admitted in his testimony in court that he transported Narin's body to the Eğertutmaz Stream. Bahtiyar, who was acquitted of the murder charge, was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison for the crimes of concealing and destroying evidence.

BAHTİYAR FAMILY LEFT THE VILLAGE

Following the court's verdict, Nevzat Bahtiyar's son, Ferhat Bahtiyar, made statements to the press.

Stating that they left the village for security reasons after his father's arrest, Ferhat Bahtiyar said, "We cannot disclose our location for security reasons. Our family is experiencing great trauma."

"MY FATHER TOLD THE TRUTH ABOUT EVERYTHING AND ACCEPTED HIS PUNISHMENT"

Ferhat Bahtiyar said the following regarding his father's court process:

“Justice has been served. My father received the punishment he deserved. He was given this sentence because he told the truth about everything, and he has accepted his punishment.

However, the court panel and the lawyers did not allow us to watch the hearing on the grounds that our presence might cause problems.”
