What is the point gap between Erdoğan and İmamoğlu? Revealed in the latest poll!
ALF Research has shared the results of an election poll featuring a race between AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
The results of the poll, conducted by ALF Research face-to-face with 2,007 people between March 3 and 6, have been shared with the public.
Participants were asked the question, "If the Presidential election were held this Sunday, which candidate would you vote for?"
İMAMOĞLU LEADING THE RACE
According to the poll results, 47.2 percent of participants chose Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
The support rate for AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was measured at 43.3 percent.
The rate of undecided voters remained at 9.5 percent.
8.5 PERCENT OF AKP VOTERS SUPPORT İMAMOĞLU
In the research, the rate of AKP voters who stated they would vote for İmamoğlu was 8.5 percent.
The rate of CHP members who said they would support Erdoğan was recorded at 2.1 percent.
PREFERENCE OF MHP AND BBP VOTERS
Another notable detail was that 18.4 percent of voters from the MHP, a partner in the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı), stated they would prefer İmamoğlu in the Presidential election.
A similar trend was observed among BBP voters; 15.2 percent of participants stated they would vote for İmamoğlu.
Among IYI Party voters, who formed an alliance with the CHP in the 2023 elections, it was seen that 18.5 percent said they would vote for Erdoğan.
