New details are emerging regarding how Yaşama Tutunan Patiler Association President Buket Özgünlü Boyacı acquired wealth through the donations she collected and her scandalous actions concerning animals.

A lawsuit was filed against Boyacı, seeking up to 4 years in prison for "acting contrary to measures regarding infectious diseases" and "torturing a owned animal" after she transported 29 dogs, alleged to have rabies, from Siverek, Şanlıurfa, to Ankara in 2024.

Furthermore, a MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board) report revealed that Boyacı used donations collected in the name of the association for personal gain.

The reports also indicated that Boyacı owns 9 apartments and 2 warehouses.
