ORC Research determined the political tendencies of young voters aged 17-26 with a survey conducted between October 15-18, 2025. In the study, which was carried out with a total of 1,250 people across 26 provinces in Turkey, it was observed that the gap between the AKP and the CHP in the preferences of young people reached remarkable levels.
The responses given to the question posed to participants, “If there were a general election this Sunday, which party would you vote for?”, clearly revealed the political orientation of young voters.
CHP (Republican People's Party): 33.1 percent
AKP (Justice and Development Party): 22.5 percent
Zafer Party: 8.1 percent
MHP (Nationalist Movement Party): 7 percent
DEM Party: 6.3 percent
İYİ Party: 5 percent
TİP (Workers' Party of Turkey): 3.3 percent
YMP: 2.9 percent
New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi): 2.5 percent
Great Unity Party (BBP): 2.3 percent
Saadet Party: 2 percent
Anahtar Party: 1.7 percent
Other: 3.3 percent
